A quantitative approach to reality - reducing everything to the two parameters of a flat world. The absence of a third dimension means the absence of movement. Time ceases to exist. Fleeting and fluid moments, once imbued with emotion, are now frozen. There is no need to hurry.
The rest belongs to imagination. The subject of the work is irrelevant; the viewer always constructs their own model - only a model. The essence of things shifts each time; there is no singular truth. The medium is unimportant - paper, canvas, screen, pixels - all are merely forms of matter.
The works in this project are personal studies of frozen moments and emotions. I capture relationships, strip them of their transient nature, and compress them into an erased, two-dimensional space - distanced as far from reality as possible. Trapped and contemplated, these works release new, previously unseen meanings.
